“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”
John 1:12
She came the very first time when we took the Wednesday Bible Study group out for our annual Christmas Feast. Collassia, age 16. Lost. Alone. Angry. Hurting. Confused. She is the niece of Ms Covannia. We were surprised to see her, as she climbed into the big ministry van. Quickly and secretly, we filled an extra stocking for her, careful to add a couple of clear Gospel tracts. We weren’t able to talk much with Colassia at the Dinner - too much going on and so many little ones to care for. But, she sat in the front seat on the drive back home. She stated bluntly that she was not going to Heaven. Colassia was lost. But, she was interested. And she listened carefully to the clear presentation of God’s marvelous plan of salvation for anyone who would believe the clear Gospel, which promises the free gift of everlasting Life to whosoever will trust Jesus Christ alone for it. She never looked away. She believed. She asked the Lord to forgive her and to save her. He did. She was astounded and she knew that God had made her part of His forever family when she believed Him. When someone in the van said, now you are a Christian. She immediately said, “A Christian? Now I am a Christian? My father was a Christian before he died last year. I am a Christian!” Pray for Colassia. Pray she will come to Bible Study. Pray she will grow strong in the Lord and in His Word.
Thank you for your prayers and for your kindness in supporting LAMB Ministries, as we try to reach as many people as possible with the clear Gospel of God’s matchless grace and to disciple them through regular Bible studies, our weekly radio talk show, The Founders Show, lunch meetings, officiating at weddings and funerals and many other ministry events.
Many blessings and thanks,
